THE LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE

Has your name been written in the Lamb's Book of Life?

Have you been rescued out of sin and strife?

Have you taken Jesus as your Saviour?

Are you living within His favour?

Or are you perhaps still standing without,

Assailed by many fears and doubts.

If this is so it need not be,

For He gave His life on Calvary's tree,

Rising again, alive day three,

So that you might live eternally.

Just ask Him to be your Saviour today,

And He will lead you in the Heavenly way.

He will forgive all your sins and settle all strife,

And write your name in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

A FRIEND IN JESUS

You have never had a friend like Jesus

Who gave His life in order to save us.

No matter what you may go through

He is a Friend who will stand by you,

A Friend who will always care and protect,

A Friend who will always your pathway direct.

If you don't know Jesus in this way,

Please accept Him as your Friend today.

Proverbs 18:24  A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

MY MOST PRECIOUS BUNDLE

Awake at dawn with eyes so bright,

Chattering away with all her might,

With a morning kiss and hug so tight,

This, my most precious bundle.

See her daily running around,

Filling life with sights and sounds,

With an energy that abounds.

This, my most precious bundle.

See her sleeping peaceful and quiet,

Isn't she a pretty sight!

I love her with all my might!

This, my most precious bundle.

My thanks to you O Lord above

For this precious gift of love,

Please protect my little dove,

This, my most precious bundle.

dedicated to my daughter, Katy; written when she was almost 4

Psalms 127:3  Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

GREEN EYES

Green eyes look back at me

and I wonder who I see

A girl with dreams in a mirror glass

Just beginning her life long dash.

Green eyes look back at me

and now it is my love I see

Young, strong, and hansome too

What will life hold? I have not a clue.

Green eyes look back at me

Small bundle of joy, O' so wee!

A baby girl, you've had they said,

Years of blessing are ahead.

Eyes of green look back at me

But now I know who I see

A wife, a mom, a woman blessed

Looking forward to eternal rest.

1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

LOVE OF MY LIFE

Love of my life,

I'm glad to be your wife

To walk and talk, hand in hand

as I wear your golden band.

Gentle and kind

Husband of mine,

you make me proud

and sing outloud

to thank our God

that together we trod

through thick and thin

if we lose or win

He has blessed us from the start

and given us love within our hearts.

Kisses sweet

and hugs so neat

My love you are and e're will be.

I thank the Lord for blessing me!

dedicated to my hubby, Glenn.

Matthew 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL, LAND OF THE FREE

What does it mean to you and me?

Sometimes her problems are a glaring sight

and no, her leaders don't always do right.

When these problems we see and discuss

too often all we can do is fuss.

Where do the problems come from and what is the cause?

I think the answer, might , give us pause.

Let's stop for a minute and don't fuss

for the problem, you see, begins with us!

Not the president, congress, or even the court,

But the trouble begins in the Christian's heart.

God has commanded us for our country to pray

not once in a while, but everyday.

For our leaders we need to make intercession

and of our country take repossession.

Our hearts we need to make sure are right

and then lead our country back toward the Light.

So America the Beautiful, Land of the Free

What does it mean to you and me?

It means we have duties as well as rights

And when we fulfill them we'll see new heights.

It means we need to work, vote and pray,

And soon in our land we will see a new day.

America the Beautiful, Land of the Free

May God bless her and you and me!

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day is a day very dear,

It represents freedom to people here.

It was the beginning of a very long fight

For freedom, justice and right.

The Lord was with our country then,

And helped us that fight to win.

But now that we have won the fight,

We have forgot the Lord and all His might.

If we will turn from our destruction

Back to the Lord and His instruction,

He will keep us a great land

And bless us with His mighty hand.

WHICH ROAD?

Are you ready for Jesus' appearing?

The time for it is quickly nearing!

When He comes the Christians will leave,

And those left here will greatly grieve.

For the lost left here will be sorrow and strife,

But for the Christian, happy eternal life.

Which road is in your sight,

If Jesus were to come this night?

Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

HEAVEN IS A PLACE

Heaven is a place of eternal joy,

Where we will sing prasies and give God the glory.

Heaven is a place of no more tears,

No one there will have any fears.

Heaven is a place of no darkness or night,

For Jesus is there and provides the light.

Heaven is a place of untold treasures,

A wonderful place, far beyond measure.

Heaven is a place of abounding love,

The kind that come only from God up above

Heaven is a place, it seems to me,

The most wonderful place there ever could be!

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
